Community guidelines
A community is defined by how it behaves. These guidelines keep Track Twenty Six welcoming, safe and respectful.
Our commitments
How we treat each other
Everyone at Track Twenty Six is responsible for the culture we create. Our guidelines are simple, and they apply to every activity, event and conversation.
We expect members to be inclusive, honest about their abilities, respectful of the environment and considerate of others at all times.
Guidelines
What we expect
These principles keep the community strong and safe.
- Respect every member regardless of experience or background
- Be honest about your skills, fitness and health
- Follow the instructions of leaders and instructors
- Look after newer and less experienced members
- Leave no trace and protect the environment
- Follow local rules, laws and land access
- Keep language and behaviour respectful
- Hold safety above ego and objectives
- Support others rather than competing
- Represent Track Twenty Six positively
Boundaries
What is not acceptable
Behaviour that endangers others, harasses members, damages the environment or brings the community into disrepute has no place here.
Where guidelines are not respected, we will address the situation directly. In serious cases, membership and participation may be restricted or ended to protect the community.
